It's so fun looking at all the pics of your family. You've gone from sunny weather to chilled bones haven't you?!
Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory.
If the Lord delights in a man's way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps. Duet. 11:24, Psalm 37:23-24, Prov. 16:9
May The Lord give you great peace as you wait on Him to determine your next move. Love you!
Well home at last, that is always a great feeling. Now you have your chairs, bed, ha, pillows, and best of all view of your "long looked forward to --- Friday Harbor." I sure hope I get to make a trip over to see you all this coming year!! ha, I'll have to hog tie these girls and get one of them or both to bring me!!
You might as well be where you can enjoy your retirement. My prayer is you have many years there together.
Your Thanksgiving looked wonderful but didn't understand ha, a "wheat turkey?" I'm stuck in the woods so ha what do I know? Life goes on and I can't keep up with it here for sure. Our lives are simple and a turkey is a turkey, they poop all over our yard ha, thank goodness Russ quit feeding them, they have gone elsewhere to mooch! But never saw one yet that was ha, a 'wheat turkey?' I don't think Russ would go for that ha.
I bet your little dog is glad to be home too.
I bought myself a new bible and am reading it through again and this time so blessed with the abundance of things that encourage me and have such instructions to follow. I know them, I've read most for years and years, HOWEVER ha, the wonder of the Word, it is ever new!! I'm just reading a few chapters straight through the Old Testament, a chapter of proverbs and a Psalm nightly and was reminded again; Proverbs 2:1-6 "My son/daughter, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and liftup your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; THEN you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the KNOWLEDGE of God. For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understnading; HE stores up wisdom for the upright; He is a shield for those who walk uprightly; He guards the path of justice, and preserves the way of His saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path."
I love that, I love the Word. I will be praying for you both, that with your hearts pulled between Summerland and Friday Harbor due to Ron's medical issues, God gives you HIS ultimate wisdom and guidance. I know that is your hearts desire and I support you in it.
love you
