This Last week has been a trying week for me,in that the "enemy does not sleep"!!! and when we are at a weak point this is when he cowardly schemes and devices ways to trip us up..
As a Christian we know we have an adversary, seeking to devour,destroy,and even kill.
1 Peter 5:8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
1Peter 1:13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.
There is spiritual warfare going on in the heaven lies..........Being in the Word the Lord shows us we have an adversary,and Intercessor,a defender, {Jesus}.....
Sometimes I have my own little pity party!!!!!! And if left to myself I become a mess............
Hebrews 7:25. "He is able to save forever those who draw near to God through him, because he always lives to make intercession for them".
Romans 8:6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,
I Love my Man!!!!! He is so patient, and full of Love. He just says to me Sandie can I pray over you? This is pleasing to the Lord,when our Husbands Have this Wisdom that is Pure from Heaven,to pray over us. I feel the Presence of the Lord Lifting that burden the enemy wants to keep me under.
Matt 11:28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:30 "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
My Prayer tonight is that Holy Spirit of God would Breath Life into us, Help us set aside our own self centered agendas, help us to live according to your ways, Help us to not be so self absorbed, but more God absorbed, Help free us from the trappings of our own drama,our own little world,Help us to have your heart for others,those around us, Lord God you are all about people, that is why you draped your self in humanity,became flesh....Give us a greater desire to see you Glorified Father,Holy Spirit revive us,we have been invited into the life of God,but we need you to breath the life of God in us, bring newness to transform us to renew the way we think, Father do a wonderful work in us that we would be more like Jesus, that we would better represent Jesus Christ,to a lost and dying hurt world. We want more of the power of God working in and through us,Holy Spirit do what Jesus Christ said He would send to do! teach us, empower us, now to live for the Glory of God, In everything we do Lord Jesus,let it be to magnify you,Glorify you,Honor you,and Exalt you.
Remind us that when we want to know what you look like oh God we look to Jesus and when we want to see what Jesus looks would that be me/us?
Oh Forgive me Lord Jesus,I confess I fail miserably reflecting who you are, I thank you for the Cross and for the confession of my sins,that you are faithful to forgive us of our sins, we are a new creation in Christ Jesus.
Lord Jesus, with your Strength,your Love,your Holy Spirits empowering Help me/us to be more like you,I need more of you,we need more of you. Bless you Father in Jesus Name A-men

Nice to know Ron you have been seizer free for 8 days. This has to be such a relief for you. Getting a sense of normality back in your life. Something is working good isn't it. Prayer, food, and what ever else you are doing. Bless the LORD. Enjoy your day and hope you can get back on track, and on with your plans.
I know you must miss Friday Harbor. I was hoping we could come and visit you there this year but plans just didn't jive between what was going on in your lives and ours. Ha we had babies born a wedding, and lots of things going on both sides.
You guys were family oriented wanting to visit your loved ones, which is so good and we had similiar things going on.
OK I'm blessed to see you have had some relief here, and that is always a praise.

Sandy, read all you wrote and bless you for your honesty and love of OUR LORD through what ever is going on.
Life has its stresses --- and it seems so unfair at times because when stressers come --- our "how to deal with stressers book" has somehow gotten ripped off by some gremlin!! OR shredded by the dog!
We're sitting bare bottomed without toilet paper, and it would be that big job!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We're famished and the cereal bowl and box of cereal is on the counter ---- you open the frig. and some jerk drank all the milk------WHAT? Who put this milk in the cubbord?????? you sheepishly get this flash back when the phone rang yesterday and you had the milk in your hand----------"ahhhhhhhh, don't remember putting it in the frig? NO why would I put it in the cubbord?------------stupid phone!!"
It's LIFE----if anything adds to it it just makes what we already experience intollerable! At this point who ever is in the line of fire best move it on over ha, as the fuze has been set and there is ha, "fire in the hole," ca boom!
The good thing about all this is, after a morning, day, week of this we begin to get wider eyes and clearer thought and a whole lot more purposed and aware as to what is going on around us.
"bathroom tip ha,keep the whole package of toilet paper next to the toilet!"

I see I have not missed anything, I have not gotten back to the blog in a few days. My latest work, a Commentary on Habakkuk is in the printers hands and should be done by Dec. first. Then I've been working on the history of Petra in Jordan and all those that lived there over the centuries ---The life story of Esau, (Edomites) too --- at any rate been totally consumed with that.
I won't presume no news is good news that does not always fly. So I just hope your needs are being met and with what you have you are doing well. Living by faith is being grateful daily for all HE does do for us and letting go of what we can't do that we want done. So many facets to living by faith, and trials certainly teach us many of them.
Our dog Baruch had the worst seizer tonight he has ever had, I didn't know if he would make it through or not -- he just lay staring for some time after the seizer. He has a bad heart and it will be a sad day when he dies. He's such a beautiful shepherd. He takes, I think I mentioned once to you, heart and seizer meds.
Well ten to twelve, best hit the hay! We have a Thanksgiving dinner at church tomorrow and I'm looking forward to that. Then on Thanksgiving day we are going to Russ's cousins Dick and Roseann's place on their horse ranch, it's such a neat place to go.
