I know God answers our Prayers, it may be yes, no, or wait, we may not like the answer,but God always answers Prayer. Ron and I Daily asking the Lord to give us a grateful heart in all circumstances. Ron and I want only to be in the Will of God. We thank the Lord for these 2 young men in our lives, these are our sons Ronnie and Nathan whom are so supportive and great cooks making a great healthy meal for all of us. We ask the Lord to Bless them daily, Minister to thier hearts. As you can see they get pretty excited when they are both in the Kitchen! They are GREAT COOKS! YUMMIE!!! Ron had a rough morning,he had a small seizure,totally drained,please keep him close to your hearts in that his digestive system needs to work properly in all ways in moving out all the yuck that has built up in his system from all the changes in eating to medicinals, coming off the kepra etc.Pray that his strength would renew quickly and that he would start to have more energy. The Lord knows how much I Love this man and desire for him to be well! Bless you all and thank you for your continual Prayer. Ron has been doing good,we knew that when he went off the kepra he may have some seizures, he has had a few very mild ones not fully feeling the effects of seizures past.
In Place of the kepra he is taking Organic skullcap herb {scutellaria lateriflora}Scullcap "is tonic, nervine and anti-spasmodic,” and “it has proved especially useful in chorea, convulsions, tremors, intermittent fever, neuralgia, and many nervous affections. is also known to prevent the recurrence of seizure.
Oxy-e is another Body ph balancing formula,Oxy E creates oxygen in your cells plus acts as a free radical scavenger. Another important trait of Oxy E is its cleansing ability. The formula works to wash away toxins and lactic acid build up within cells.
This seems to be doing its job,without side effects. Ron and I know that it is only the Power of Pray that is ultimately the working power behind his days of feeling good and the rest is a resource to healthy healing.
Only the Lord knows what's taking place on His brain, we are thankful for each day he wakes up feeling good and having a good day. Family has been a good medicine in itself,

Today we wake up Praising the Lord Jesus for the strength and health of this day,yesterday was a good day the Abba Father gave Dad, He slept most of the day and woke up later in the afternoon feeling great. He did not take kepra yesterday because of the side effects and had "no seizure". Thank You Jesus.
the day before yesterday was a draining day for Dad sleeping most of the day and feeling very drugged and drained, from the kepra, his body has been detoxing ridding itself of many toxins, he is on a strict eating program for life,which is really good,and tasty,and healthy the way our Lord intended it to be from the beginning of time. Our Sons and Daughter in Love-have been a great encouragement in helping us with research and meal Ideas, It is all about fresh organic vegetables and as many raw foods, Dad has been taken all Natural medicinal medicines with no side effects, since Tuesday, and no seizures, Praise the Lord. What a friend we can have in Jesus!

Do you know that truth to be yours? Is Jesus your friend?

Some trust in the strength of their own talents and abilities but those of us who truly know Jesus, soon realize that we have no strength outside of Him and in fact learn that, HE becomes our strength.

When all we've done and strived for comes up empty and meaningless, Jesus waits patiently for an invitation to move in and fill our lives with meaning and hope. He's only a prayer away.

What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

Ron and Sandie have learned this truth and have been walking in this truth for some time. When the storm of cancer came they did not jump ship and try to find shelter on their own but instead realizing where their true hope comes from, fell on their faces before The Lord and cried out to Him "WE TRUST YOU PRINCE OF PEACE!" and are waiting until Jesus gets them to the other side.

Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness; take it to the Lord in prayer.

Ron and Sandie know what it means to have weakness. Their faith is being tested in ways that some of us might never experience and yet, God has been so faithful to comfort, encourage, give wisdom, direction and yes, STRENGTH to walk this journey step by step trusting Jesus Christ who is The Living Word to be the lamp to their feet and a light for their path. Psalm 119:105

Ron and Sandie hope and pray that each of us would KNOW JESUS CHRIST who was crucified for our sins, buried and is alive today and seated at the right hand of His Father praying for us that we would all be able to say:

NO SEISURES TODAY!! PRAISE THE LORD!!

The Lord is so good!

Ron and Sandie talked with the doctor today. They asked specific questions and the doc was able to give them clear answers that gave them clarity which they felt was what they needed from The Lord.
The main question that was asked was "If we opt to not have the biopsy and pursue alternative medicine, when would be the recommended time for another MRI?" The doctor responded positively to the alternative meds being a reasonable option and would want to see Ron again in 3 months unless Ron began suffering with more symptoms before that.
The doctors concern over Ron is to watch for symptoms such as weakness on his left side of his body, numbness on his face, poor coordination, poor balance, etc.

PLEASE PRAY RON DOES NOT EXPERIENCE ANY OF THESE SYMPTOMS.
PLEASE PRAY THAT JEHOVAH RAPHE (GOD OUR HEALER) CHOOSES TO MIRACULOUSLY HEAL RON.
NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR OUR GOD.

The doctor increased the Keppra med from 500mg to 1500mg which is a pretty big deal because once Ron is on Keppra he can't just decide to go off of it without being admitted into the hospital so they can ween him off. Otherwise a grand mall seizure would overtake his body and .... well, let's just avoid that whole scene if you don't mind! In fact, once he gets fool blown into Keppra, it becomes a medicine he'll need to take for the rest of his life for reasons stated above.

Ron and Sandie are trusting The Lord and continuing to ask Him for direction on the holistic meds and for their daily lives. Right now Ron is also taking high dosages of natural medicines so as you can see, they are doing everything they can and leaving the rest up to The Lord Almighty.

It's amazing to talk with both of them concerning this trial for their trust in The Lord is a huge witness to all who know them. These two saints are so full of Jesus that in the midst of the unknown they lift up HIS NAME in praise. I personally feel so honored to know them.

We bless you Ron and Sandie and we continue to place you before The Lord for God's comfort and ultimate healing in your lives in His time.

The Peace of God has washed Ron and Sandie today and they are relieved from the anxiousness, fears and yes, even tears that they were experiencing earlier today. Keep praying saints! :)

Ron is having 2 seizures a day recently. Pray for protection over his mind, body, soul and spirit as he waits upon The Lord to heal him.

Ron chose to go on Keppra today which will discourage him from having grand mall seizures. Please pray he does not suffer with the following side effects that come with this:

*Suicidal thoughts
*Depression
*bloody noses
*solemness and more.

They are encouraged and they know it's because of our prayers!

Oh Lord, Give Us Your Wisdom, Clarity and Peace!

As I write this new post I am asking The Lord to speak to each of us from His Word what He would like to say to Ron and Sandie and how He would like to encourage them at this time through us. They have confessed that they love The Word of God and their hearts grow tender, encouraged and revived by His written word.
They're feelings of anxiety and the many questions come and go but The Word of God sustains them so, Word of God, Speak!

Would you please pray with us for wisdom, clarity and peace for Ron and Sandie right now? They will be speaking with the Doctor tomorrow at 3:00-3:30 asking direct questions concerning the procedure that is set for Thursday. If indeed the tumor cannot be removed, and they've decided in their hearts that radiation or chemo are not the way they want to go, then why the biopsy?
They are also looking into alternative medicine which, if you know them at all goes right along with their lifestyle of trying to eat as natural as possible.

Ron has had 5 seizures since Friday and although these have taken the steam out of him he is also very encouraged in The Lord as Reality Carpenteria (their home church in Santa Barbara) has bathed them with hands on love and prayer (THANK YOU CHURCH, BLESS YOU!). He was anointed with oil (James 5:14-16) this past weekend and although there have been no signs of healing, as of yet..., we are still praying that The Lord will miraculously heal you Ron! May God encourage you brother!

Jeremiah 17:14; 30:17 Oh Lord, Heal Ron and he will be healed. Save him and he will be saved. Restore health to him and heal his wounds.

Psalm 29:11 Oh Lord we pray that you will give strength to Ron and that You will bless Ron with peace.

Praying towards the biopsy on Thursday

I wanted to remind us that Ron will be going in this Thursday for his biopsy. Please pray for Ron and the family that:

**They would "not be anxious about anything" and that "the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard their hearts and their minds in Christ Jesus".
**The doctors would have skillful hands and wisdom in their every move while Ron undergoes the biopsy.
**That Ron would experience great peace before, during and after the biopsy and that no adverse reactions or infections would set in in Jesus Name!

I'll keep you posted as I hear more from the Cuellars.

We know we can't do this without Jesus Christ' Spirit within us and filling us. May we all be filled with His Spirit today in order that we'd walk in obedience to His Word. He Is Worthy!

Inoperable Brain Tumor

Good evening friends and family!

The Cuellar family went to see the Neurosurgeon this morning and it has been confirmed that Ron has an inoperable brain tumor which means that it cannot be removed. The doctor is preparing Ron for a biopsy next Thursday to see if it's malignant or benign and to find out what kind of treatment should be done for it.
Right now he's calling this bad boy an Oligodendroglioma Tumor which I leave up to you to look up and find out more about it. We won't know for sure if this is an accurate assessment until he goes in and does the biopsy but the doctor seems to think it's likely.

The biopsy itself will leave a hole in Ron's head the size of a dime, maybe a bit smaller. The biopsy is also a bit dangerous as they could clip a blood vessel which of course leads to other complications....this is something the doctor has put out there in order that they know the risks Ron is facing.

They are told that this kind of tumor will respond well to Kemo which can strongly discourage it from growing any larger. If they were to try and remove the tumor it could end up paralysing Ron so they won't take that chance on him.

Ron has resigned himself that if this is not something that can be removed through surgery than he would rather not willingly further afflict himself with Kemo or radiation which causes some very undesirable side effects but instead just go on living his life as usual and enjoy the health that he is experiencing at this time outside of the small seizures he is troubled with.
They are encouraging Ron to take a preventative medicine called Keppra. Kepra would discourage Ron from having grand mall seizures which are inevitable without Keppra. If he has a grand mall seizure it will immediately lesson his quality of life as he knows it so this is a pretty big decision Ron is faced with making.

The side effects of Keppra are:

suicidal thoughts
depression
solemness
bloody noses, etc.

Obviously none of these side effects are too encouraging to think about.

In spite of the bad news Ron and Sandie have received today they are able to continue to keep their faith strong in the Lord knowing that He is and always will be their Master Healer; we believe that this is in part because of the prayers of the saints. Thank you for caring about Ron and Sandie and for your prayers and support. It means so much to them.

Here are some areas that need immediate prayer:

**That Ron would not experience any negative side effects from the Keppra medication if he chooses to take it.
**That the doctors would have a steady hand and that Ron would be protected from any adverse reactions or problems from the biopsy coming up this next week.
**Ron and Sandie would continue to be strong in their faith and trust in the Lord and that they'd be protected from anxiety, fear or dread.
**That their whole family would be submerged within God's comfort and love and that this trial would draw them nearer together and into full agreement with The Lord.

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Trust in the Lord always,
for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.

MRI RESULTS

You know, God never promised us that life would be easy, in fact, He said in
2 Timothy 3:12 that everyone who wants to live a godly life will be persecuted.
I'd say a tumor would fall into this category wouldn't you?

I'm reminded of Jesus' disciples who had just been rudely kicked out of town
and the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit, regardless.
How can this be? Because they had their eyes fixed on Jesus and not on their crisis; Where else can we go? He has the words of life!
So this is how Ron and Sandie talk today. We're darn proud of them, and
without a doubt, The Lord is too!

I talked with Sandie on the phone this morning and the diagnosis is that Ron
has a tumor the size of a golf ball on the right side of his brain.
The tumor sits in an area of his brain that effects the sensory but not the
vision or mobility which we are praising God for. If one has to have a tumor,
thank You Lord for allowing it to be where it isn't going to affect his motor skills. Hey, we're looking for ways to Praise The Lord here! :)
The Neurosurgeon will let them know in the morning how they are going to
tackel this badboy tumor, whether it will be a biopsy or to surgically remove it.

Ron is doing good in spite of some anxiousness that is, of course, our human nature. Both Ron and Sandie fall into their Father's arms and remind Him that "You know all things, You know the beginning and the end and we ask that You embrace Ron and make Your love known to him right now for, as You know, he could really use Your strength."

They hold tightly to these two scriptures today from the Word of God:

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. "

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." AMEN!

Let's remember to keep Ronnie and Nathan in our prayers as well. The two sons have been such an encouragement to mom and dad and we pray that they experience the true love and hope that only Jesus can supply during this family's time of need.

Walk in great faith--Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.

MRI this morning, results tomorrow morning at 8:00am

Ron was given an MRI this morning and tomorrow morning at 8:00 the results will determine what steps need to be taken from here. The Neroligist told them that he is listing this as very serious until he sees the results for himself in the morning. They were told to expect a biopsy or ? depending on what they find.

So, we're in the woods with our brother Ron and we praise God that HE is the lamp unto our feet and the light unto our path. Psalm 119:105

PRAY FOR RON CUELLAR

Grace and Peace to you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Sandie and Ron were in a prayer meeting a couple of weeks ago when Ron began experiencing an inability to speak. Sandie took him to the hospital and the doctors began taking tests to try and find out what Ron had suffered from and why.
Soon after, the doctors found a mass in Ron's brain and they have been doing tests to see what exactly the mass is and how to go about treating Ron.
Despite the setback that Ron has faced, he is doing well and in fact Sandie says, "He looks like he could run a marathon!"

This past week they have traveled from Friday Harbor to Santa Barbara to take care of some business and meet with doctors in their own home town. For now they will stay in Santa Barbara until they find out what The Lord's will is which will determine their next step.
One day at at time!
This morning Ron and Sandie are in the neurologists office to hear from the doctors what they're reports have revealed.

Please pray with us for:
*a miracle of complete healing and that Sandie and Ron grow old together in Jesus Name
*great wisdom and discernment for the doctors as they advise Sandie and Ron in this hour
*God to be glorified in and through Sandie and Ron as they continue trusting and resting in Him, their God of hope. Rom. 15:13
